It's that time of year again when people all across the country do silly things to raise money for BBC Children in Need Appeal. Many supermarkets and High Street stores encourage their staff to dress up and you will often find male fairies wondering around talking to customers and you will be served by an array of characters. They also sell official BBC Children in Need merchandise alongside shaking buckets collecting cash.
Well, on Folksy we are not that much different. I can't say whether anyone will be dressing up but there are sellers who will be donating part or all of their profits to this worthwhile Charity.
I am one of the businesses pledging to make a donation. 50% from the sale of all items sold between Thursday 18th and midnight Saturday 20th November 2010 will benefit The BBC Children in Need Appeal, a company limited by guarantee (charity number 802052 in England & Wales and SC039557 in Scotland).
Here is just one of the items that you can find in my shop and all of my items are one-of-a-kind.
Here are some items from other sellers who are pledging donations from the sale of items.

Unique Beaded Gems is donating 10% of all sales. She makes fabulous jewellery from the more unusual gemstones and every piece is one-of-a-kind.
Card Making Princess is donating the proceeds from every card sold. I particularly like the 1930's style ones.
Pauline's Candles is holding a Coffee and Candle evening, with all proceeds being donated. That Strawberry's and Cream candle looks good enough to eat!
